Five Miami-Dade, Broward Prospects To Watch

It’s Wednesday and that means only one thing. Shining the spotlight on Miami-Dade and Broward prospects.

While we continue to promote athletes throughout the year, during the season, we bring you football talent that is getting it done, helping their respective programs compete.

Today, as we do each week, is bring you five prospects to keep an eye on. Some you may have already watched – while others may be new to you.

2025 - Dayen Marouf Araibi, OL, 6-3, 280, Plantation American Heritage. Here is a very talented prospect that we have talked about several times over the past two years, and now as he is fully into his senior season, you can see growth, maturity and someone who is one of the anchors of an offensive line that has a chance to be as good as any in this state. The Patriots, even in the loss to Chaminade-Madonna, showed how they can protect the passers and open holes for the running game. This young man is indeed solid. In addition to football, where he can lineup at all of the line positions, he also participates in wrestling.

2026 – Luc Carroll, WR, 6-1, 190, Miami Gulliver Prep. The son of one-time University of Miami and NFL receiver, Wesley Carroll, is certainly following in the footsteps. His size, athletic ability and route running has given him a huge advantage. Even as the Raiders are going through a rebuilding process, this is one of the players that opposing teams need to prepare for. In addition to football, he is also a track athlete and maintains a 3.6 GPA in the classroom.

2026 – Noah Sidan, PK/P, 5-11, 175, Hollywood Chaminade-Madonna. What more can say about someone who has been kicking a football for less than two years, but found a way – in 2023 – as a member of Miami Norland 2M state final team to hit two game-winning field goals against power Miami Central. In last week’s thrilling 48-45 win against Plantation American Heritage, he found a way to hit the winning field goal with time running out. If his work as a special teams standout doesn’t catch the attention of colleges coaches, his 4.0 GPA in the classroom will enhance his recruitment.

2025 – Justin St.-Ange, LB, 5-10, 190, Fort Lauderdale Archbishop McCarthy. Sometimes college coaches miss out on some of the better talent because they don’t have a reason to see some programs and that happens to a lot of players. But now as his senior season is here, this tackling machine has started to thrust himself into the spotlight as the Mavericks, who had been independent the past few years, are now a 4A team that will get plenty of exposure – especially with their current 13-game winning streak – the longest in south Florida. His work on the football field in only enhanced by his work (3.2 GPA) in the classroom.

2026 – Geovanni Tobon, RB/Slot, 5-8, 175, Miami St. Brendan. In south Florida it is easy to get lost in the shuffle, so when you have the chance to jump into that spotlight, you make the most of your chance. This is easily one of the under-the-radar football prospects that started his junior season with a bang, having the opportunity to showcase his skills as a runner and a potential slot receiver at the next level. Keep your eye on this quick and elusive athlete this season and again in 2025.
